| Job Information | We are accepting resumes for a Permit Expediter to work in our office in Davie, FL. Generally, Permit Expediters manage the submission of permit packages to building departments and expedite the approval process. This entails interacting with clients, contractors, architects, engineers and building department staff to coordinate all the details required for a complete and accurate submission package. Permit Expediters are responsible for clear communication with the scheduler, runner, and bookkeeper and contribute to the established team spirit. The office environment is friendly yet only the serious, hard worker should apply. We require honesty and integrity. It is a high pace office where accurate results are required. It is necessary that a candidate have experience in the construction industry and knowledge of building departments. Candidates must be able to think on their feet and trouble shoot problems. We have established processes which you will be expected to follow. Part-time: The hours will vary and will range from 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday.
