Permit Expediting

Our permit expediting service has a proven system to get your approvals quickly. By following our system we have enabled many permits to be issued ahead of schedule. Our system works as follows.

Step 1 – Identify any unique peculiarities of a reviewing agency to assure all initial submissions comply with the basic criteria of that agency.
Step 2 – Analyze the manner in which each permit is submitted in order to minimize permit and impact fees, since a minor change in approach can result in substantial savings.
Step 3 – Compile and submit all items required for each permit submission: plans, applications, signatures, authorization letters, reports, calculations, NOC’s, etc.
Step 4 – Closely involve ourselves with the government agencies through the review process and expedite the permits at every opportunity.
Step 5 – Track the progress of all permits on a daily basis to keep our clients informed, and communicate plan review comments to the appropriate parties.
Step 6 – Respond and submit corrections to plan reviewer comments.
Step 7 – Pick up all permitted plans and distribute.
Step 8 – Submit Revisions following steps 3-7 above.

Every project is unique and requires close attention to all details. Our staff has the tools and knowledge to assist you in the success of your project.

Owner’s Representative

As the Owner’s Representative we work closely with you and your entire team to ensure the project stays on the critical path to meet your goals. We provide the owners of development/construction projects with a team member who understands these projects from an executive level who will monitor the project and move it forward. We take the following approach:

• Develop positive working relationships with all team members and take pride in assisting them in their success.
• Take a proactive approach in order to avoid delays that could potentially result in a crisis.
• By understanding the ownerships goals we ensure that the team stays focused on accomplishing these goals.
• We facilitate the numerous details between team members while tracking it through completion.
• Represent ownership with government officials.
• Assist ownership in monitoring the consultant’s deadlines.
• We are the “go to person” for details that are not clearly in a team member’s scope of work.
• Assist in the transition from development to construction.
• During the construction process we assist with coordination between the development team and contractor.
• Keep an eye on the inspection process during construction and assist with the CO process.

Timely completion by the design and construction team can make or break the financial success of a project. With a representative of ownership staying focused on the many details, delays will be avoided and goals will be met. Our experience enables us to work with consultants and contractors to assist them in managing their goals and reaching their deadlines. Our invaluable resources and experience will help you make your project a success.
